After working at a large secondary school in Poole for 12 years as HR Officer, I was given the opportunity to join the Simplify Consulting team. It was a big decision moving from the public sector into the world of consultancy, wealth, life, pensions and investments but I felt it was an exciting opportunity which would present itself with opportunities to learn a new industry and work with a client-focussed team of professionals who are driven to succeed and expand the business.
It’s been an interesting week learning about project management, business analysts, workflows, capability model, meeting decks, deliverables, acquisitions and many more, I have also had the opportunity to meet the team either in the office or via zoom.
The team have been so welcoming, offering support, help and guidance with a smile and the offer of a cuppa, even though they have all been busy. Simplify offer flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week, what a great start with such a forward thinking, work/life balance approach. The Business Support team are doing a great job of looking after me and showing me the ropes, I am hoping that it won’t take long for me to feel fully knowledgeable in my role so I can start contributing to the team outcomes. I am also looking forward to building relationships with the Simplify Consulting Associates who are working with our clients and our new Consultants who will be joining through our new Academy.
