We worked with a Wealth Manager to deliver a new back-office system supplied by an IT outsourcer supplier. The delivery included migration of the existing book of business and demise of the old systems.
The client’s existing change management approaches and capabilities were insufficient to manage a change of this size, and therefore we provided delivery expertise, including Project Management, Business Analysis and Testing support across the full end-to-end lifecycle of the project.
Approach:
We were able to utilise our delivery approaches and tools to manage all aspects of the project delivery for the client. This included providing comprehensive support to create a robust plan and risk management framework and manage deliverables, including with the system vendor. We provided our expert Business and Test Analyst to develop the requirements for the new system, operational processes and migration. These requirements were then tested to ensure that the delivery was robust before the project was implemented.
Results:
The project was delivered on time and on budget with a successful implementation across business lines. We were engaged to develop the strategy and plan for a second phase of delivery to migrate further books of business onto the new system.
