Introducing the Simplify Academy

We’ve been active in promoting our growth journey over the past seven years, setting out how we’ve gone from just two at the start to a permanent team of 14, supplemented with a number of associates who have enabled us to augment our engagements and bring unique skills and experiences to compliment our core team. When we started out, we focused on finding undervalued but experienced and highly capable people who had been lost within a big corporate and who had the ambition and desire to work for a growing consultancy business with high aspirations. That philosophy has served us well and we have a fantastic team who live and breathe the Simplify virtues and who have consistently risen to the challenge in working for a dynamic, practitioner-led Consultancy business helping financial services businesses deliver change and transform efficiently, effectively and without fuss.

As we embark on the next stage of our story and given the changing recruitment landscape resulting from the changes being brought in by IR35 , we’re looking to evolve the way in which we recruit in the future. We’ll continue to invest in the same undervalued but high calibre practitioners in large corporates that we’ve always sought to bring in and we’ll supplement our core team with additional temporary capability from the market when the need arises; but we’re also going to set up a new programme – the Simplify Academy. In the coming months we’ll be announcing our plans to recruit more junior change professionals, perhaps 2-3 years into their career within a financial services business (and typically in roles such as Junior Business Analysts or Junior Project Managers) and we’ll invest, develop, support and reward ambitious, capable, energetic candidates with fantastic opportunities within our team. We’ve always been advocates of investing in talent development, through our association with the ‘Future of Advice’ programme that we instigated with our friends at FPWM, Strategic Solutions and Bournemouth University and this is a logical extension to that, investing in our business for the future and bringing in fantastic people who want great experiences in a Financial Services Consultancy business.

At Simplify Consulting our people are at the heart of our business. We offer competitive salaries, a broad and attractive range of benefits, flexible working – we’re all about output rather than hours – and varied, challenging and rewarding engagements in which to develop your skills and experiences. We believe in supporting people in obtaining professional qualifications and providing our consultants with all of the skills and knowledge in their toolkit to add value to our clients.

While we put the finishing touches to our plans, if this sounds like an opportunity you’d be keen to pursue, then feel free to register your interest by sending us your contact details and current CV to us here. Your contact will be treated in the utmost confidence and you’ll be the first to hear details about our Academy development programme before it’s unveiled.
